Moonstone

I'm going to try and make a bio thing, though I don't think I've made one before. It's not complete and there are details that still need to be worked out, but here's what I've got so far.

Name: Moonstone
Nicknames: Moon
Pronouns: She/her
Weapon: A staff that grants her minor hydrokenisis and can be used to hit people over the head
Gem Placement: Forehead
History: Moonstones are relatively rare gemstones who are used as advisers for their intuition and  this Moonstone worked for a Sunsstone. She worked loyally for her, but became anxious when she heard that the earth's crust is made primarily of feldspar, which moonstones are made of and was worried she'd be demoted to a common pilot. Moonstone and some of her friends decided to frame Sunstone as a rebel and stole one of her ships and skipped galaxy.

Moonstone had become a pirate. Over the years, she built her crew and allies up mostly via debts and favours. When she came across a gem that powered something, she would take a few minutes to look the gem over and would let her intuition tell her if the gem would be hostile or susceptible to her charm. One of her major trades is gems. She will take gems she's bubbled and either sell them to the highest bidder or use them to power something. Her ship, for example, is powered by rubies. It's a dark trade, but she justifies it to her crew as a necessary part of being able to set up their own safe colony away from Homeworld and it's reach. She doesn't feel bad about what she does because of the money she gets out of it.

Moonstone heard about gems being able to fuse with different gem types while she was on a space station buying and trading supplies. She didn't really believe it, but it was something that stayed in the back of her head for some time. Lapis had heard the same thing and eventually asked Moonstone if they could at least see if the rumour was true or not. When Moonstone and Lapis successfully fused and became a different gem [aquamarine?] they fell apart and unfused. The experience was unfamiliar terrifying, and exhilarating. She will fuse with her crew should the need arise, but she will rarely if ever ask to fuse.

Recently, she had kidnapped a Sapphire and her Pearl. She intended to sell the Sapphire and keep the Pearl herself, but left the Pearl and Sapphire together not realising the Pearl would poof, bubble, and send the Sapphire home.

Currently in her crew: Lapis, Peridot, Emerald, maybe some beryls? + 1 unhappy pearl.
